The Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a mandatory certification process for all Department of Defense (DoD) contractors. It is designed to protect the defense industrial base from increasing cyber threats by requiring enhanced cybersecurity practices and processes.
Starting in fiscal year 2025, all DoD contractors must meet specific CMMC requirements to qualify for contracts.
